REAL NAME: Walter Langkowski

1st APPEARANCE: X-Men #120 (1979)

BIO: Walter Langkowski has been a pro football player, a college professor, and a genius government researcher. In the course of his research, Walter tore a hole to another dimension - the home of the Great Beasts - and the resulting energy fused him with one of the creatures from that world.

STATUS: As Sasquatch, Walter joined Canada's protectors, Alpha Flight. Though at times they've been at odds with the X-Men, the teams have come to count on one another as allies.
