1ST APPEARANCE: The Uncanny X-Men #148 (1981)
BIO: A unique mutant with the ability to track other mutants and convert others' fear into physical strength, Caliban was one of many subterranian mutant outcasts known as Morlocks - and even endured a stint as one of Apocalypse's Horsemen - before eventually joining the X-Men.
STATUS: Caliban was recruited into Cyclops' secret X-Force team because of his affinity as a tracker. He played a pivotal role in determining what had happened to the infant messiah before he died taking a Reaver bullet meant for his teammate Warpath.
