STATUS: While Jean was shopping in Westchester, Onslaught summoned her to the astral plane. There he tried to enlist her in the coming war by exposing humanity's -- and Charles Xavier's -- deepest hypocrisies. When she refused to join him, Onslaught sent her home with his name branded on her forehead, a portent of his coming. Only later, after probing Juggernaut's mind, would Jean realize the terrible truth... that Onslaught and Xavier were one and the same.
